2016 Global IT challenge for youth with disabilities was closed in Yangzhou on November 24. One hundred and four contestants from 16 countries took part in the challenge, and 56 won awards.

There were four events-- electronic tools, electronic design, electronic life maps, and electronic programming. There were 28 contestants on the Chinese team, 23 male and 5 female.

The challenge was an opportunity for disabled youth from different countries to develop their interest in the IT industry and compete with their peers.

The contestants said that they were very happy to make new friends during the competition. The Internet has brought new jobs for the disabled, and the IT challenge is a great motivation for disabled youth to expand their knowledge and overcome their difficulties in life.

The event will be held in Vietnam next year.
