CDPF establishes international cooperation center
Jia Yong, CDPF vice-chairman, announced the establishment of the center. He addressed the ceremony, pointed out that the CDPF was formed during the reform and opening-up and has continued to grow and develop by actively participating in international exchanges and cooperation in the field of people with disabilities, noting that it has always made unremitting efforts to serve the country's overall foreign policy and the development of the cause of people with disabilities domestically.
The CDPF is deeply involved in the construction of a governance system of international organizations for people with disabilities, promoting regional cooperation such as the Asia-Pacific Decade of Disabled People with Disabilities and the Asia-Europe Meeting and advancing pragmatic exchanges in the field of people with disabilities under the Belt and Road framework. The CDPF is increasing in importance as an international force for people with disabilities, said Jia.
The establishment of the center of the CDPF is in line with the times and needs of the cause, he added, said he hopes that under the leadership of the CDPF and the guidance of the international liaison department, and with the joint efforts of various departments and units, the international cooperation and exchange center will provide efficient and strong support for the international cooperation and exchanges of the CDPF.
