A cooperation agreement between National Paralympic Committee of China and National Paralympic Committee of Spain was signed in Madrid, Spain on April 24.
Mr. Shen Zhifei, Vice Chairman of NPC China, who is also Vice President of China Disabled Persons’ Federation, and Mr. Miguel Carballeda, Chairman of NPC Spain, also President of ONCE (Spanish Association of Blind People), signed the agreement and addressed the floor on behalf of the two parties respectively.
H.E. Spanish Secretary of State for Sport and H.E. Chinese Ambassador to Spain and dozens of dignitaries attended the signing ceremony, which was covered by Spanish leading media and Xinhua News Agency.
The signing ceremony launched the cooperation between the two NPCs in the coming 3 years in fields of Paralympics movement and sports of people with disabilities.
